What is a Licensed Registered Interior Designer?

Interior design is the total creative solution of planning, supervising the aesthetic, and technical aspects of achieving the desired result of an architectural interior and its furnishings. The designer must access all the factors that come into play when professionally formulating a design solution. such as the space itself, how it will be used, construction and satisfying the clients needs.
 
The career path of a professional Interior Designer involves formal education from an accredited Interior Design program, then entry level work for 2 years and finally a qualifying examination (NCIDQ). Continuing education ensures that the designer is up to date with changing building codes and trends. Florida requires Interior Designers to be licensed.
